it has been that long?!?!?!?

since I last posted? December SIXTH? that is crazy. we have had a busy, crazy, full, wonderful month. I only have a moment here, but wanted to throw in there that our girls received Shrek the 3rd DVD as a gift, and it is very cute. One segment that had us all rolling is a scene where Prince Chraming is bullying Pinocchio into revealing where the missing ogre, Shrek, has gone. The dialogue, with the puppet speaking in a high, whiny, nasal voice, goes like this:

Prince Charming: You. You can't lie. So tell me, puppet, where is Shrek?
Pinocchio: Uh, hmm, well, uh, I don't know where he's not.
Prince Charming: You're telling me you don't know where Shrek is?
Pinocchio: It wouldn’t be inaccurate to assume that I couldn’t exactly not say that it is or isn’t almost partially incorrect.
Prince Charming:- So you do know where he is?
Pinocchio: Oh, on the contrary. I'm possibly more or less not definitely rejecting the idea that in no way with any amount of uncertainty that I undeniably...
Prince Charming: Stop it!
Pinocchio: ...do or do not know where he shouldn’t probably be, if that indeed wasn’t where he isn’t. Even if he wasn’t at where I knew he was, that’d mean I’d really have to know where he wasn't.

There are some movies that are fun to quote, and I think I may use these lines next time someone asks me"What is for dinner?", or "When are we going to Target?" or, "Can I play guitar hero?"...

"I may or may not know what is not for dinner. It wouldn’t be inaccurate to assume that I couldn’t exactly not say that it is or isn’t almost partially decided. I'm possibly more or less not definitely rejecting the idea that in no way with any amount of uncertainty that I undeniably... (take a breath here)

...do or do not know what we will probably be eating, if that indeed wasn’t what I was offering. Even if we aren't eating what I knew we were, that’d mean I’d really have to know what we are NOT."

ORR ~ I can always use a favorite line of a favorite friend...."For dinner, you have 2 choices - take it, or leave it."

I will fill you in more on the month of December sometime - I can't say for sure when that may or may not happen, as I undeniably need to go clean my rather messy or not-so-messy house before we have a new year's party of unpredictable size.

ta-ta!

the whole crew....

This was snapped the morning that Ben's parents went home to (CHILLLLLY) Minnesota. Emmanuelle looks taller than she truly is, because I had her stand on a little stool....she is still kind of a peanut, and really only comes to (barely) Victoria's shoulders.
